This section passes through the labia majora (26) and minora (28) and the upper thighs but is essentially similar to the preceding one (Plate 6.33).

The semitendinosus muscle on the right side has undergone degeneration for unknown reasons. Although this pelvis is from the cadaver of a patient with multiple sclerosis, no causal relationship was thought to exist between the muscle degeneration and the disease.
